Coronavirus:What We’ve Been Doing To Help The Local Community

During the Covid-19 crisis, we’ve kept ourselves busy helping the local communities of Newton Abbot and Kingsteignton.

Although initially we lost a large number of staff due to the age and health shielding guidelines, we were very fortunate to gain an army of volunteers that have proved invaluable to keep us moving in the community.

Whilst our normal staff and volunteers have been largely working from home doing the organising, our new volunteers have been working to deliver essential food supplies and medicines.

We’ve also formed a union with local Pub and Restaurant The Old Rydon Inn delivering meals to the local area.

This has proved hugely popular and is something we hope to continue for the duration (see below article from the Mid Devon Advertiser for more info).

As always, we’d like to thank everyone involved for our achievements so far during the pandemic.
