Not all heroes wear capes. Some put on their walking boots, face 34 hours of exhaustion, pain, little sleep and some seriously tough conditions – all to support a charity they believe in. That is exactly what Charlie and Emma from Coombes Wood House in Kingsteignton have done for Kingscare.

Here’s what we’ve been up to over the last few months! From supporting local people, welcoming Volunteers to our Socials and our Voluntary Transport Service being as busy as ever,  we’ve enjoyed this quarter at Kingscare. Take a look at some of our highlights below.

KingsCare’s Golden Couple continued their 50th wedding anniversary celebrations aboard the Buckfastleigh Memory Café Train this week. Val and Graham have a long-standing relationship with  the Team at KingsCare, enjoying swimming, walks and so much more. Kathrine Bailey, who runs the Memory Café, said, “It’s so lovely meeting clients from
