Carers Group – Time for You – Drop in

The Carers Group Drop in 10.30am-12 pm Second Thursday of the month.

Each month we invite a visiting speaker to the group and recently these visits have included the depression and anxiety service, solicitors, Devon and Cornwall Police and the Filo Project.

This group takes place on the second Thursday of each month 10.30am -12.30pm.

The group is mutually supportive peer group and there is a Carers support champion from KingsCare in attendance. Each month we invite a visiting speaker to the group and recently these visits have included the depression and anxiety service, solicitors, Devon and Cornwall Police and the Filo Project. Refreshments are provided and staff and volunteers from KingsCare are also available to listen and provide support as appropriate.

This group is free, donations for refreshments gladly accepted to help with costs.

Transport links: The number 12 and the number 78 bus stop outside the church. Newton Abbot Railway Station is a short walk away, the Church being on the corner of Queen Street and the Avenue.
