The KingsCare Charity Shop is a vibrant part of our community, raising vital funds to support the wide range of services and activities we provide. Every item donated, every purchase made, and every hour volunteered helps us make a real difference in the lives of local people.
Whether you’re after a bargain, donating items, or just popping in for a browse and a chat, we’d love to welcome you.
Our shop is packed with a wide variety of quality pre-loved items, thoughtfully sorted and affordably priced. You’ll find:
Women’s clothing for all seasons and occasions
Shoes, handbags, and accessories to suit all styles
A great range of books, from novels to cookbooks and everything in between
Stylish and practical homeware, including glassware, crockery, and kitchen items
A selection of craft supplies – perfect for knitting, sewing, scrapbooking, and DIY projects
Our stock changes regularly, so you never know what hidden gems you might find. Whether you’re looking for a new outfit, a good read, or something for the home, it’s always worth a visit.
The shop is run by a wonderful team of dedicated volunteers who bring energy, enthusiasm, and a warm welcome to every customer. Their hard work and creativity behind the scenes, sorting donations, stocking shelves, and helping visitors, keeps the shop thriving.
Interested in volunteering? Contact our office or come in and see us to join us as a volunteer in our shop! Whether you have a few hours a week or more, we’d love to hear from you. It’s a great way to meet people, build skills, and give back to the local community.
If you’re having a clear-out, we’d be delighted to receive your good-quality, unwanted items.
We gratefully accept donations of:
Adult clothing (clean and in good condition)
Shoes, handbags, and accessories
Books (fiction, non-fiction, etc.)
Homeware items (non-electrical)
Craft supplies
If you’re unsure whether we can accept an item, just give us a call or pop in and ask.
All profits from the shop go directly towards funding KingsCare’s work, allowing us to give back to the community – whether that’s maintaining our vehicles so we can provide transport to get someone to their medical appointment, running our wellbeing walks and social groups, or running our memory cafes.
By shopping, donating, or volunteering, you play a vital role in helping us continue that mission.
