KingsCare is funded to work in support of people who are discharged from hospital. This is a much valued and important service in support of patients and the NHS. Discharge may occasionally be an anxious time, with delays or even a speedy, unexpected discharge, so we are here to support those who need a helping hand. The main focus is upon those who do not have someone close by who may do some shopping or perhaps help settle them home. Navigating hospital discharge is not easy for staff at hospitals, particularly with the pressure on beds, but together, we hope to support those who need it.
