Newton Abbot’s annual Victorian Evening made a return this week, kicking off the late-night shopping and helping us all get into the Christmas spirit! As is the tradition local charities (dressed in their Victorian attire) being present in Market Square selling a selection of Christmassy items ranging from Christmas cards and gifts, Christmas decorations and homemade cakes and sweets.
KingsCare once again supported the event thanks to Maggie Bonnell, Jackie Millichap, Keith Smith and Phil Millichap – the first three looking majestic in their Victorian attire. We hugely underestimated the demand for our Christmas Tree Straw game and sold out in just over an hour. In total the evening raised close to £220!
