I am 56 years old and live in Teignmouth with my wife Anne, and our hyper-active spaniel, Bella.
We have 2 children. Hannah teaches Geography at a secondary school in Portsmouth where she lives with her fiancé James, and Nick, who is shortly heading off to work in The City, having graduated in Economics and Finance at Bath University.
I recently retired, having worked as Finance Director and Company Secretary for Hotline Electric Fencing Ltd in Newton Abbot for 17 years.
I was encouraged to apply for the post of Treasurer by Anne, who currently works as community-based Physiotherapist, and I was delighted to be offered the post this April.
Both Anne and I are fit and active, and have been very involved with River Teign Rowing Club for many years. I was Chairman of the Gig section for 3 years and Club Treasurer for many years. We both continue to row the Cornish Plot Gigs competitively all around the South-West, but enjoy the social aspect of the sport as much as the competitive side.
