On Friday 16th June, we held an Air-Fryer Workshop at St Leonard’s Room in Newton Abbot Museum.
The lovely Kelly hosted the event for us, and on the menu was cheese garlic bread, sausage rolls, seasoned chicken, and paprika and garlic potatoes.
All six of our participants made this from scratch!
Afterwards, we asked for feedback:
From 1-5, how would you rate the information?
All participants scored 5/5.
From 1-5, what did you think of the session?
All participants scored 5/5.
From 1-5, how likely are you to participate in another session?
All participants scored 5/5.
Why did you decide to come today?
– To freshen up on my cooking skills and learn how to use an Air-Fryer.
– To really challenge myself.
– Wanted to learn more about cooking in an Air-Fryer.
– To learn how to cook.
– To get more out of my Air-Fryer and learn how to cook with it.
Any other comments?
– I really enjoyed today and would do it again.
– The instructors were very knowledgeable and helpful.
– Brilliant help for me. Kelly helped me cut the food up as I can’t use my left hand. Would be good to send my husband!
– Very happy and was well looked after by Kelly and her assistant. Learnt lots!
– All the instructors were amazing and helpful.
– I was very nervous about coming but everyone was really friendly and the whole session was laid back and relaxed. I don’t cook at home so this was a very big thing for me to come and do.
Kelly’s feedback.
“Thank you for giving me the opportunity to come out of my comfort zone.
As soon as I got home I had a good cry, not because I am sad but because it’s the first time I have achieved something in such a long time.
The people I met today are all so lovely.
I really did enjoy every minute of it.”
A fantastic day was had all round, and we’ll keep you up to date on the next Workshop!
Special thanks to Newton Abbot Town Council for funding the event.
